First, I am sooo sooo sooo sorry for the paypal emails that came from my
shop this afternoon!!! We were out of the house the whole afternoon,
otherwise it would have been addressed MUCH MUCH sooner.I know many of you will be getting these emails, please DO NOT CLICK ANY OF
THE LINKS. IT IS NOT LEGITIMATE!!! If you have clicked them, go immediately
to Paypal and CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.We have identified the problem and fixed it. Apparently there is a bug in
Zen Cart, that allows a person to send an email to everyone in the mailing
list from the Contact Us page. We have corrected this, and are certain that
none of your actual emails/account information has been violated.I am just soo sick over this whole thing! I am soo sorry for any trouble it
has caused and I will assure that I would never knowingly allow any such
emails to be sent from my store. If you have ANY other problems, please feel
free to contact me through PM and I will do
everything in my power to fix it!Again I cannot apologize enough, I feel so bad that this has happened!
Please, please accept my deepest apologies!!
Can I just cry! :’( I just feel so sooo bad that this has happened! I am completely beside myself and just feel like I want to give up. 
What is worse, I feel soo bad that all of you have been dragged into this mess, I know it is not my fault, and PLEASE know we are doing EVERYTHING in our power to ensure it doesnt happen again, but still it happened and I just have no idea how to “fix” it with everyone. It is so sad that we live in a world like this… I guess its truly not my week, I have been scammed twice! Rick has taken down the site temporarily and we are making some security upgrades to ensure that we can be as secure as possible… So the site will probabaly be down for a couple days… if you still are DLing your CD, please email me with a copy of your order confirmation and I will set up an alternate link.
Happy first CD release to me…

Dani - it’s not your fault! I don’t know WHY they chose your site, but it’s obviously someone who doesn’t care about other people, only themself. Please try not to take it so hard - I don’t think that anyone blames YOU!!!

It’s not your fault! You didn’t do anything wrong. There are just people in this world that aren’t very nice human beings. And I don’t know if this helps but I got the email from you guys alerting me to the issue but I never received anything from PayPal….so maybe not everyone was affected?
Regardless - this isn’t your problem and don’t let the bad guys get you down!

Keep your chin up! Sounds like a ‘Zen’ problem, not a Dani problem, but I understand where you would feel responsible. Just try not to think of it, k? The digital community, in large, seems to be a very caring and understanding group, so don’t worry

((((HUGS)))) It’s not your fault luckily a lot of us know about those paypal spoofs, it happened to me before! I’m so sorry this is happen with you ((hugs)) & I think you were on it right away, taking care of it. I literally got the e-mail with in minutes it was already up at DST.

Your sincere post says it all. We know you are not to blame in this- you are a victim like us. I immediately changed my password and forwarded the email to PayPal as directed. It just goes to show that we all need to be SO so careful! You are doing a fabulous job to stay right on top of it and make it even better for us. Chin up…

Awww.. don’t cry! {{{HUGS}}} I don’t understand how people can get their kicks out of doing this sort of stuff. It’s not your fault. I’ve had my email addy for almost 6 years and up until about 3 or 4 months ago almost never got a spam email of any kind. It is like they are coming out of the woodwork now, so I’m pretty good at spotting them right off.

There are people out there that won’t hesitate to take advantage of every tiny loophole out there and don’t care about anyone else.

Dani there are too many people out there with too much time on their hands. I am so sorry that this had to happen to you and on this weekend of all times. Sounds like you are taking care of it and that is all you can do. I changed my password and I ran a virus check and everything was all good. Please have a great weekend..what is left of it!!

Dani — do not spend any more time worrying about this! This stuff happens, and consumers have to be smart enough to know what is legit and what isn’t. In a week, this will all be behind you! Dani, It’s not your fault… and this has been happening on a number of different sites…. I think they just target someone because they find it fun … there is often money involved and in some way they figure they can get a little cash. It’s the internet version of theft… beyond piracy that is happening out there.
Don’t look at it as a bad thing - Consider it a blessing in 2 ways….
(before emailing I came to your site to see if there was any info on the email… and ended up browsing around some more!) 
1. that they pointed out a small hole in chosen app. which you were able to fix; and
2. they will bring people back who have fallen out of touch with your site!

When I got this email, knowing how these hackers are…sigh, I felt bad for YOU! No worries! It can happen to anyone. Showed great customer service how fast you addressed this issue. You are still tops!

Hey, stuff happens! I think everyone understands, and I’ve gotten similar phishing scam emails from bigger sites than yours(I think this actually happened at ScrapGirls a while back), so don’t worry about it! You handled it quickly, and that’s great.
The important thing is, you are an awesome designer and we love you!
And your new CD collection is AWESOME!!!!

oohhhh, Dani, so sorry you feel bad, but don’t give up. We all need your wonderful creations and brilliant talent to keep us motivated. I must say that I did get the email, but the email sent by you guys warning us and then the follow up email about it being taken care of and telling us what happened was so very professional. I don’t know of anyone who would have done that. Thanks so much for your concern, and am so sorry that you are having a bad week.
